Raksha Bandhan movie is a story based on the life of Lala Kedarnath and his four sisters. Lala Kedarnath is the elder brother in the family so he takes responsibility upon himself of his four sisters marriage. He also sacrifices his love life for the sake of it. Will he be able to get his sister married is what you will get to know after watching the movie.

Story first half is comedy. Second half is emotional drama story. Movie has a message till the end. Movie talks about social issues like dowry and other topics related to female. Songs are nice in the film. Some are average. Some are really good. Some songs could have been avoided in the film. Story duration is little less 1 hour 48 minutes, specially when it is a comedy drama film. You will not get bored watching the film.

FIlm is a mix of emotions as well as entertainment. You will enjoy watching this film with family. Twists and turns are there in the movie. One twist before the interval. Another twist, major twist after the interval that is emotional. Akshay Kumar monologue in the film is also special. You will enjoy watching him and keep praising him for his performance. Movie story is a little outdated specially when you compare it with todays modern times. Brother taking care of sisters marriage and all very less you see in today’s time. Movie story was a little predictabe specialy when you saw the trailer.

Movie is a good watch family entertainer film.Emotion and drama, perfect mix in the film along with comedy. I enjoyed watching the film. I rate this movie 3.5 out of 5 stars. Akshay Kumar and his sisters have shown good on screen chemistry in the film.
