Karan Johar acquires North India theater Distribution rights for Devara film starring JR NTR

Karan Johar took to his Instagram on Wednesday to announce that he has acquired the North India theatrical distribution rights of JR NTR starrer Devara Part 1 film. The film is helmed by director Koratala Siva and marks the Telugu acting debut of Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.

The film stars also Meka Srikanth, Prakash Raj, Shine Tom Chacko, Kalaiyarasan, Murali Sharma, and Narain.

Karan shared the photo with Jr NTR, Anil Thadani and other makers of the film Devara and said in the caption ‘A mass hurricane of grandeur entertainment is closer than ever before’

He said he is extremely honored and grateful to be part of Jr NTR’s Devara film. Along with that he has also announced his partnership with the film for the North theatrical distribution rights. Look at the photo below:

The film will be releasing in cinemas October 10. Anirudh Ravichander is music director of the film and it is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Sudhakar Mikkilineni, and Kosaraju Harikrishna under the banner Yuvasudha Arts.
