Soorarai Pottru, the Tamil successful film which starred actor Suriya, Aparna Balamurali. Its hindi remake officially has been announced that stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan in the lead role. Also in the film will be acting actor Paresh Rawal.
The film title is not yet given. Film will be releasing in cinemas worldwide on the 1st of September 2023.Sudha Kongara who directed the Tamil version will be directing the Hindi version as well.

Film will be produced by Vikram Malhotra led-Abunduntia Entertainment and 2D Entertainment led by Suriya, Jyothika Sadanah and Rajsekar Pandian.
Film is a story of a person who works on his mission to make the common man fly. Soorarai Pottru means Praise the brave in English. Story is inspired by events rom the life of Air Deccan founder Captain G R Gopinath.
The Tamil version won five awards at the 68th National Film Awards, including the best feature film, best actor for Suriya and best actress fro Aparna Balamurali.
