Kabzaa movie review: Action movie lacking emotional touch, cinematography, direction good but screenplay, character development poor

Kabzaa film is a story about underworld mafia, gangwars fight and action. You get to see baddies fighting against each other, suspense element is also there. Action element is intense but emotion wise the story is little weak. You can’t understand the emotion that goes behind the action.

The music (BGM) also fails to do the talking to a certain point. At some point the BGM will also look like it doesnt suit well and in some scenes not needed. You can feel little KGF vibes while listening to the BGM of this film. But we the audience expected something new, something different.

Story and screenplay of this film was also weak. DIrection was good. But character development in the film, more work should have been done on it. Film starting was little bit good, but then afterwards, the film went for a toss. Our engagement level slowly went on dropping as the movie went on proceeding.

Production wise, the film was good, the set design, costume design ,art direction and all was superb. Even the cinematography of this film was good. VFX of this film could have been better.

Hindi dub version I have seen. Dubbing in Hindi was not at all good because they have used high fi words in hindi language to tell their story. They could have used simple words to make it easy for the audience to understand.

Acting of the actors in this film is fine. But the emotional connect and the story, screenplay of this movie was a dissapointment. I had too many expections from this movie. But this film didnt not work out as I had expected. Not happy with the film. I give only 2.5 out of 5 stars for Kabzaa.
