Dashmi is a movie about the social evil like rape present in society. We see rape committed by some of the popular people in society and they go unnoticed like religious leaders, political leaders etc.
This film tries to highlight the wrongdoings of some of the respectable people of society. How socieity identifies the crime, how they try to het justice to the victims etc we get to see in the movie. Very good acting by the cast particularly Vardhan Puri, Gaurav Sareen, Monica Chaudhary. Vardhan Puri who happens to be the grandson of Amrish Puri has got the public eye with his one more powerful act in this movie.
This movie tries to ignite an awareness in mind of the audience that crime should not get unnoticed. We should raise our voice against all sorts of crime and try to get justice with the system. We should not wait for someone to save us. We should be capable enough to raise our voice for ourselves and the people around us.
We can see in this movie how a group of youngsters try to fight against the injustice meted out to the victims. Powerful age of social media and how social media can be used for the good of society we can also get reference in this film.
I recommend this movie to everyone who wants to witness some different kind of movie. This is a drama cum thriller film. You will be amazed by the drama also the thrill of this movie. I am also impressed by the climax of the film. I rate Dashmi 3.5 stars out of 5. Watch my video review below:
